Patient MRI Reports
The Medical Records Department is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There is a voice mail system in place for "after-hours" requests. The Medical Records Department is available to mail and/or fax patient MRI reports to referring and/or consulting physicians up to one (1) year from the date of scan.
The MRI report is available for faxing within 24-60 hours of the scan date by calling the Medical Records Department at: 800-883-7225. The report will be faxed over within five (5) minutes. If the report is not available for faxing, a "wet reading" can be obtained at the request of the referring physician.

The authorization can be faxed directly (Fax: 978-552-2659) to the Medical Records Department with a follow-up phone call (800-883-7225) and the report will be faxed back to the physician's office within ten (10) minutes. If the record is kept in off-site storage, the report will be faxed back within 24-48 hours.
The MRI films are kept at the hospital where the patient had the MRI scan performed. To obtain copies of the MRI films, contact the Radiology Department at the hospital.
